NAT101 – Natural Health Philosophy

This subject is primarily aimed at those who wish to pursue a career in complementary medicine.  It can however be taken by anyone wanting to more about the approach and justification taken by complementary medicine practitioners. It covers our history and underpinning principles.  You will learn how this approach has developed over time, key contributors, and its place in our current medical system.  A comparison is drawn with orthodox medicine, enabling you to see the advantages and disadvantages of each model, the challenges faced by each, and how they can work together.
