NUT101 – Nutrition Unpacked
As well as
gaining a basic understanding of nutrition, by completing this course you will also learn about many of the popular diets
and ‘official’ recommendations for healthy eating in Australia.
We cover topics such as organic
food, how to interpret food labels, what you should be looking for when
shopping, and examine weight management and body image issues. You’ll also learn about the
so-called ‘superfoods’, and the pros and cons of chocolate. Finally, you’ll come away
with practical solutions and ideas for cooking meals that are not only healthy
but also taste great.
